How Much Dry Ice Should I buy?

5kg: Larger home parties, small venue use. This pack must be used on the day of delivery.

10kg: Our best seller – this pack will last for 2 days and will serve many hundreds of customers over 2 nights. Also great for home parties with fog effects and for many school projects and School Open Days.

15kg: For larger venues and parties. This pack will last for 2 days.

20kg: More of the same! This pack will stretch to three-day use if storage instructions are followed.

How Long Does It Last?

Dry ice has a short shelf life. The more ice you order the longer it lasts. Typically it can lose around 2kg per day. The 2.5kg will usually last for 24hrs if unused and left un-opened.

It depends! 10kg can be consumed within minutes if added to sufficient hot water to create large scale effects. However, for smaller more subtle effects the dry ice can last for hours. We ship dry ice in thick polystyrene boxes and the ice will last for 3-4 days depending on how you store the ice. We recommend keeping the ice unopened in the packaging until it is required and to store the box in a safe cold place. Once ice has been used put the lid on the remaining product and place in a cold location.=
